Michelin-star restaurant Din Tai Fung is launching a brand new vegan menu.
The world-renowned Taiwanese eatery is including 5 plant-based wonton and noodle dishes to all of its 13 US areas.

The brand new dishes embody Vegan Wontons with Home Spicy Sauce, Vegan Noodles with Sesame Sauce, Vegan Wonton Soup, Vegan Noodles with Home Spicy Sauce, and Vegan Noodle Soup.
They’re made with plant-based JUST Egg and are infused with fresh-squeezed spinach juice to present them a ‘vibrant inexperienced hue’.
Furthermore, Albert Yang is the VP of Din Tai Fung. In a press release despatched to PBN, he stated: “We’ve obtained an unbelievable quantity of suggestions asking for extra vegan choices.
“We’ve been working exhausting to make sure these new choices are as much as the standard requirements our friends anticipate.”
Michelin-star eating places
Din Tai Fung isn’t the one Michelin-star restaurant embracing the plant-based movement.
Earlier this month, iconic New York eatery Eleven Madison Park (EMP) introduced it’s ditching meat and seafood.
EMP quickly shut as a consequence of COVID-19. Nonetheless, it’s going to reopen on June 10 with a completely plant-based meals menu*.
“It’s time to redefine luxurious as an expertise that serves the next objective and maintains a real connection to the group,” wrote chef Daniel Humm.
“A restaurant expertise is about greater than what’s on the plate. We’re thrilled to share the unbelievable potentialities of plant-based delicacies whereas deepening our connection to our houses: each our metropolis and our planet.”
*EMP says it’s going to proceed providing friends cow’s milk and honey for espresso and tea
